WESSON – After dropping its first conference game of the year in the opener at Co-Lin, 6-5, in 11 innings, 10th-ranked Jones responded in emphatic fasion to win the finale, 12-4.
With the split, Jones moved to 25-5, 7-1 in the MACCC. Co-Lin moved to 14-16, 2-4.
Jones travels to Coahoma on Saturday for a noon doubleheader.

Trailing 5-0 through seven, Jones rallied for a single run in the eighth and tied it with four in the ninth before getting walked-off in 11.
An RBI-groundout put Co-Lin on the board in the first.
Hagan Coumbe singled to score two in the fifth and Lucas Harrington singled to make it 5-0 Wolves.
Wade Fulton, who finished 3-for-4, homered to put Jones on the board in the eighth. He also doubled in the sixth and singled in the ninth.
Jones rallied with two outs in the ninth, all started by a hit-by-pitch drawn by
Hays Carley.
Cole Manuel followed with a single, Fulton singled and
Gavin Brassfield doubled to tie the game at 5-5.
Co-Lin would walk it off on Isaac McClenty's sac fly in the 11th.
Beau Bryans got the no-decision in 5.0 innings, scattering eight hits, five strikeouts and three earned.
Brice Deaton tossed four shutout innings.
Brady Thomas took the loss in 1.2 relief.
Dee Morgan worked 7.1 innings of two-hit ball for Co-Lin in a no-decision.
Jones 12, Co-Lin 4
Jones sent 12 batters to the plate in the sixth and scored six runs to pull away for a game two win and split.
Co-Lin led 1-0 after one on Jordan McKenzie's RBI-single but the Bobcats scored the next six to take control.
Austin Mills doubled and
Brady Thomas scored both him and Manuel with an RBI-single in the second.
Colton Hegwood drilled his team-leading fifth home run to right to make it 4-1 in the fifth and
Marquette Gibson added a two-run triple in the sixth to extend the lead.
A sac fly and RBI-single for the Wolves cut the deficit to 6-3 after six.
The Bobcats' big seventh inning started with a one-out walk to Hegwood. Bryans had a two-run single in the inning and
Evan Rogers doubled to score one.
Andrew Marble (5-1) got the win, working 6.0 innings allowing six hits and no earned runs with four strikeouts.
Ten different Bobcats had a hit in the nightcap.
