Prior to Jones: Played the 2023 season at Meridian Community College...hit .312 with seven doubles, a triple, home run, 12 RBIs and 25 runs scored...threw out four runners attempting to steal...fielded .978 in 227 total chances...Eagles finished 38-12 and played in the region tournament.

High School: Played for head coach KK Aldridge at Northwest Rankin...helped the Cougars to a 34-3 record and MHSAA Class 6A State Championship his senior year...Collegiate Baseball Newspaper First Team All-American and all-state selection...hit .374 with nine doubles, seven home runs and 40 RBIs as a senior.
