JACKSON – Jones College quarterback Jevarion Glover has been named the MACCC Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Glover, a 6-foot-4, 201-pound true freshman from Amanda Elzy High School, accounted for 404 of the Bobcats' season-high 509 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-28 Homecoming win over Holmes.
 
Glover completed 21-of-34 passes for 335 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 15 times for 69 yards and two scores. He threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Kaiden Smith (Oak Grove) and a 52-yard scoring strike to TK Keyes (Taylorsville) and had touchdown runs of five and one yard.

In three starts this year, Glover is completing 67 percent of his passes and has thrown for 797 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. He's also run for 257 yards and four scores.
 
The Bobcats (3-2) will have this week off and will host Hinds Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
