TEMPE, Ariz. – The Jones College women's tennis team and seven players have been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for academic achievement.
Jones was named an ITA All-Academic Team for the ninth straight year after having a 3.79 GPA.
Jones was one of five MACCC teams – along with Copiah-Lincoln, Northeast, Northwest and Southwest – to be honored. Only 17 teams were recognized nationwide.
Members of the 2025 team being named ITA Scholar-Athletes for having a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the academic year were

Maria Martinez,
Ansley Tomkins,
Hannah Hupe,
Molly Bennett,
Josie Tullos and
Annabelle Simmons.
On the court, the Bobcats went 17-0, won their fifth straight MACCC and Region 23 championships and finished seventh in the NJCAA Division I Tournament.
