ELLISVILLE – Maria Martinez clinched a 5-0 win for Jones over Northwest at No. 3 singles to send the Bobcats into their sixth consecutive region championship.

Martinez won 7-6, 6-0 over Laura Camara Blanco and paired with Camila Piquín at No. 2 doubles for an 8-2 win.

Jones won all three doubles points.

Caroline Kilpatrick defeated Ava McCain 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6 singles to pick up Jones' fourth point.

Jones will play the winner of Copiah-Lincoln/Gulf Coast who are set for a 2 p.m. first serve.

Saturday's championship match is set for 10 a.m.
