ELLISVILLE – Jones College dispatched of Meridian in just over an hour, 5-0, to reach the NJCAA Region 23 Women's Tennis Championship Semifinals on Friday at 10 a.m.
The Bobcats meet Northwest tomorrow morning.

Theresa Emelio defeated Aleah McMullan/Reine Akombo, 8-0, at No. 1 doubles,

Camila Piquín won 8-1 at No. 2 and
Katlin Porcello/
Josie Tullos won 8-3 at No. 3 to give Jones a 3-0 lead.
Emelio won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles over McMullan and Tullos 6-0, 6-0 over Michaela Mayerhoff to end the match.
All others were unfinished.
Jones is aiming for a sixth consecutive region title and automatic bid to Sumter, S.C. for the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.
