CORINTH – Jones College finished third in the MACCC Championship here Tuesday afternoon at Shiloh Ridge.
It was the second straight third place finish in the conference championship tournament for Jones and it qualifies the Bobcats for the Gulf District Championship April 21-23 in Tunica.
The Bobcats posted a 302-300 – 602 (26-over par) in the two-day event. Mississippi Gulf Coast rallied to win the tournament with a 289-291 – 589 (13-over). First-day leader Meridian finished second with a 295-297 – 592 (16-over) in the 12-team event.

Sebastian Nowak (Germany) finished sixth with a 76-72 – 148.
Drew Groscost (Lewisburg) and
Josh Tombs (England) tied for 10th place at 152. Groscost fired a 76-76 and Tombs had a 77-75.
Jacob Creel tied for 14th with a 76-77 – 153 and
Connor Phillips (East Central) tied for 21st with a 74-82 – 156.
MGCCC's Ludvig Behring was tournament medalist with a 72-70 – 142 (2-under par). Meridian's Bruce McClung was second with a 70-74 – 144.
Both Nowak and Groscost grabbed Second Team All-MACCC honors.
