JACKSON – The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) announced its 2025 volleyball postseason awards today.
Jones'
Harmony Jackson was named the MACCC Volleyball Player of the Year and head coach
John Dussouy was named MACCC Coach of the Year.
Mamie Fromdahl was last year's MACCC POTY in the first season as a program. Dussouy grabbed his second straight Coach of the Year nod.
The All-MACCC First Team consists of seven student-athletes, followed by the All-MACCC Second Team and Honorable Mention Team, each with seven representatives. All awards were chosen by the league's head coaches.
Jackson,
Izzi Barnes and Fromdahl all received All-MACCC First Team honors and
Jensi Doise was tabbed All-MACCC Honorable Mention.
Jackson has a team-high 376 kills and is averaging 3.48 kills/set. She has added 117 digs, 45 blocks and 15 service aces.
Barnes' 242 kills is third-most on the team and she's hitting .383 on the year. Barnes has a team-high 82 blocks, 16 of those solo.
Fromdahl has a team-high 942 assists, 77 kills, 47 service aces and has added 48 blocks.
Doise has 214 kills, 42 digs, 22 blocks and 16 aces.
Jones is 30-4 and plays 30-3 Calhoun for the Gulf South District Championship on Saturday, Nov. 8 in Decatur, Alabama.
