JACKSON – Jones College's Sherline King has been named the MACCC Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
 
King, a sophomore forward from Panama City, Panama, tied a career-high with four goals, on five shots-on-goal, in the Bobcats' 7-2 win over East Central. She has eight goals in her last three matches and a team-high 14 on the season.
 
King has 14 goals, four assists and 32 points on the year. She is second in the MACCC and tied for 12th in NJCAA Division II in scoring.

Jones moved up to No. 5 in the latest NJCAA poll and will travel to No. 9 Gulf Coast tonight.
