BROOKHAVEN – Jones College finished fourth in the Copiah-Lincoln Invitational here Tuesday at the Brookhaven Country Club.
The Bobcats shot a 292-299 – 591 in the two-day tournament, which was the second MACCC event of the fall season.

Connor Phillips was named to the All-Tournament Team. Phillips, a sophomore from East Central, shot a 70-70 – 140 to finish tied for third.
Harvey Taylor, playing as an individual, shot a 75-72 – 147. Taylor is a freshman from Newant, England. Josh Tombs, a freshman from Redhill, England, posted a 72-78 – 150.
Drew Groscost, a freshman from Lewisburg, shot a 77-74 – 151.
Sebastian Nowak, a sophomore from Stuttgart, Germany, shot a 73-79 – 152 and
Walker Hall, a freshman from Wayne Academy, fired an 83-77 – 160.
Meridian won the 10-team team event with a 281-290 – 571, followed by East Central at 287-293 – 580 and Hinds at 280-303 – 583.
Stephen Faucheaux of Hinds was tournament medalist with a 63-68 – 131, 9-under par. Bruce McClung of Meridian was second with a 61-71 – 132 and Hinds' Christopher Cain tied Phillips for third with a 68-72 – 140. Maddox Atkinson of Meridian, Jamie Stace of East Central and Oscar Toreld of Co-Lin all posted a 142 to tie for fifth place.
Facheaux, McClung, Phillips, Cain, Atkinson, Stace and Toreld were named to the All-Tournament Team.
The tournament will be the Meridian Invitational Oct. 6-7 at Briarwood Country Club in Meridian.
