SUMMIT – No. 12 Jones College posted two impressive victories over Southwest Mississippi here Wednesday.
The Bobcats topped the Bears 12-2 in six innings in game one and posted an 11-0, five-inning win in game two.
Jones, 23-7 overall and 8-6 in the MACJC, travels to Mississippi Delta for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
Southwest, 11-18 and 3-13, goes to Coahoma on Saturday.

Brandon Hale (Pontotoc) had a huge game for the Bobcats.
Hale was 4-for-4 with a home run, triple, two doubles, four RBIs and four runs scored.
O'Neill Burgos (Brookhaven Academy) homered and singled and
Jake Mason (West Lauderdale) added a triple.
Trace Henry (Mooreville),
Robbie Woody (Madison Central),
Bailee Hendon (Vancleave),
Gabe Lacy (Gulfport) and
Chase Tilghman (West Lauderdale) had singles.
Lane Thomas (Walker, Louisiana) went all six innings and got the victory. He allowed two runs, four hits, walked three and struck out six as he improved to 6-1.
Zach Dearman doubled for the Bears.
Jack Hilton, the first of three Southwest pitchers, went 4.0 innings and got the loss.
The Bobcats led 3-1 after two innings, 4-1 after three, 8-2 after five and ended the game with four runs in the sixth.

Henry doubled and singled twice and Hendon had three singles and drove in three runs in game two.
Hale continued his hot hitting with a double and a single and two RBIs and Woody had two singles and three RBIs.
Blake Johnson (Gulfport) doubled with
Kade Dees (Madison Central), Burgos, Lacy and
Easton Rainer (Clarkdale) adding singles.
Starter
Cooper Brune (Ocean Springs) went 4.0 innings and got the win. He allowed just one hit, one walk and struck out seven as he improved to 3-2.
Cade Killingsworth (North Pike) pitched the fifth inning, allowed no hits and got a strikeout.
Nathan Yennie singled for Southwest's only hit.
Ethan Campo, the first of four Bear pitchers, went 1.0 inning and took the loss.
Jones led 2-0 after one, 7-0 after two and 10-0 after four innings.
