CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An incredible season on the mound from freshman pitcher
Trevor Hodges was rewarded on Wednesday when he was selected as an NJCAA Division II First Team All-American.
He's the first Bobcat since Ben Stiglets and Eric Hoard in 2017 to be named to the first team.
Hodges was electric for Jones College in his relief role, factoring into 17 decisions. He finished 10-1 with six saves and a 1.55 ERA, second-best in NJCAA Division II. He allowed one earned run or less in 19 of 21 appearances.
Hodges spent the fall season at Mississippi College where he originally signed.
