Tanner Huddleston and
John Alan Wall each homered to help Jones County to a 14-3 win over Itawamba in game one here Saturday afternoon at Roy Cresap Field.
JCJC took a 1-0 lead in the first when
Clint Sasser walked, stole second and scored on a single by
Mason Irby.
The Bobcats went up 3-0 in the second when Wall led off the inning with a home run.
Dalton Skelton walked,
Fred Franklin followed with a single and Skelton later scored on an error.
ICC tied it in the second on a three-run home run by Tyreque Reed.
JCJC took control of the game with a five-run fifth.
Shelton Wallace and Irby singled and Huddleston followed with a three-run home run to left. Wall would draw a walk, steal second and went to third on Skelton's single.
Jonathan Parker's sacrifice fly scored Wall and Franklin's single scored Skelton.
The Bobcats went head 9-3 in the seventh when
Erick Hoard led off with a double, took third on a wild pitch and scored on Skelton's sacrifice fly.
JCJC added five runs in the ninth inning.
Hoard led off with a single, stole second and scored on Wall's single. Skelton followed with a double and Wall would score on a wild pitch. Parker then draw a walk.

Chris Richardson scored on a wild pitch and Huddleston's double scored Wallace.
Ben Stiglets, 7-0, got the win. He went five innings, allowed three runs, seven hits, walked one and struck out six.
Will Brand tossed three innings, allowed no runs, four hits, walked one and struck out three.
Jay Simpson pitched the ninth inning and retired the side in order.
Huddleston homered, singled and drove in four runs, while Wall homered and singled and had two RBIs. Skelton doubled twice and singled with Irby getting two singles and two RBIs. Hoard doubled and singled with Franklin adding two singles. Wallace had a single.
Reed homered and singled for ICC, while Delvin Zinn had three singles. Timothy Rowe and Brian Malone had two singles each with Ty Wheeler and Drake Rowton adding singles.
Nick Burns went the first three innings and took the loss. He gave up three runs (two earned), four hits, walked three and struck out three. Kaleb Barnes, Macen McGee, John Peugh and Hayden Guin also pitched for ICC.
