Attaway went to third on a wild pitch and scored on John Alan Wall's single to make it 3-2.
But the Sun Chiefs quickly tied the game in the fifth when Blake Buller led off the inning with a home run over the centerfield wall.
Faulkner State then got runners on second and third with one out, but Schwaner entered the game and recorded two strikeouts to end the inning.
The Bobcats won the game in the bottom of the seventh when Wall reached on an error, Chris Morgan followed with a one-out single to right and Sasser walked to load the bases.
