Mason Strickland is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Strickland, a freshman RHP from South Jones, posted the win in a 6-1 victory over Southwest. He was the starter and went 6 innings, allowed 1 earned run, 4 hits, walked none and struck out 5. Strickland also hit a solo home run in only his second official at-bat of the season as the Bobcats defeated Northwest, 4-2.
