T.J. Hollis is this week's Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Hollis has been named the MACJC Pitcher of the Week and also the NJCAA Pitcher of the Week.Â
Hollis, a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Lafayette (Oxford), was outstanding as he helped the Bobcats stay alive in the Region 23 Tournament with a 12-2 win over East Central. In his first start of the year, Hollis went eight innings, allowed one run (none earned), five hits, walked three and struck out seven.
Hollis had only pitched 7 1/3 innings all year coming into the game. For the season, he is now 2-0 with a 1.76 earned run average in 15 1/3 innings.
Hollis has signed with Blue Mountain College.
