Kelly Byrd is this week's Lady Bobcat Athlete of the Week.
Byrd, a freshman third baseman, was 7-for-14 with 2 doubles, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored as the No. 5 Lady Bobcats went 3-1 during the week. She was 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs in a 20-0 win over Mississippi Delta.
Byrd is from Terry, MS, and prepped at Copiah Academy.
