David Davis is the week's JCJC Men's Athlete of the Week.
 Davis, 5-foot-9 freshman guard from Purvis, played well in both JCJC games last week. In an 85-82 loss to Pearl River, he had 11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. In a 91-77 victory over Meridian, Davis had 19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. He averaged 15 points and 4 rebounds per contest.
