Matias Ruiz was exceptional in the month of March for the 14th ranked Bobcats.

Ruiz was 9-1 in No. 1 singles, including wins over top-ranked Tyler (Texas) and No. 7 Cowley, to make him 22-3 on the year.

He was 7-4 in doubles play to run his season total to 16-5.
