CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Jones College men's golf has been named the 2025-26 NJCAA Academic Team of the Year after recording a 3.81 team grade point average, the highest among all NJCAA men's golf programs.

Presented annually by the NJCAA, the Academic Team of the Year award recognizes the program in each sport that posts the nation's highest cumulative team GPA during the academic year. The honor recognizes the academic success of the an entire program, reflecting on the collective efforts of its student-athletes and coaching staff.

In addition to men's golf earning national honors, seven Jones College athletic programs received NJCAA Academic Team Honorable Mention recognition.

Women's soccer (3.69), men's soccer (3.39), softball (3.67), men's tennis (3.53), women's tennis (3.71), baseball (3.19) and volleyball (3.43) were all also recognized for their outstanding academic achievement during the 2025-26 academic year.

Jones College had a department-wide 3.24 GPA for the academic year.
