LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association has revealed the 2026 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-Region teams. The 2026 squads are comprised of 78 student-athletes from 30 programs.
Four Jones College players have been selected to the NFCA's All-South Region Team.
Pitcher
Madison Sawyer and outfielder
Mabry Eason made the first team, while first baseman
Mary Kimble Price and outfielder
Claire Andersen made the second team.
Saywer, a freshman from Saraland, Ala., is 19-2 with a save and a 2.58 ERA in 133 innings pitched. She was also recently named MACCC Pitcher of the Year and All-MACCC First Team.
Eason, a freshman from Oxford, is hitting .375 with 14 doubles, a team-leading 23 home runs and 63 RBIs. Eason has also been named All-MACCC First Team.
Price, a freshman from Kosciusko, leads the team with a .411 batting average, 64 RBIs and 72 base hits. She has 17 home runs and 13 doubles and has a .978 fielding percentage. Price has also been named All-MACCC First Team.
Andersen, a Wayne Academy sophomore, is batting .396 and is 48-of-53 in stolen bases. The 48 bags lead the MACCC and are tied for seventh nationally. Andersen has been chosen All-MACCC Second Team.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's three NJCAA Division II regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2026 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-America squads.
The 2026 NFCA NJCAA Division II All-America teams will be announced on Tuesday, June 2.
