Five softball Bobcats headed to play at four-year schools

ELLISVILLE – Five members of the 2026 Jones College softball program will continue their careers at the next level.

Catcher Addy Shorter, pitcher Breelyn Cain and infielder Marlee Dampeer are headed to William Carey. Outfielder Laney Little signed with Spring Hill College and infielder Reagan Dale to Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

"This sophomore class was pivotal in maintaining consistency to what this program is built on," third-year head coach Tori Dew said. "Excellence in the classroom, community and on the playing field. Success will be part of their paths as they continue their softball and academic careers."
