Brayson Graham was 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the opener and threw five innings of one-hit ball in the nightcap as No. 14 Jones wrapped up a four-game sweep of Baton Rouge at The Bank Sunday afternoon.
Jones improved to 7-1 overall and has now won 17 straight over the Bears.
The Bobcats host Nunez in a single, nine-inning game on Wednesday and host Reid State Friday.
Jones 7, Baton Rouge 2
Trevor Hodges allowed one earned run over 4.1 innings and Graham's four RBIs powered Jones to a game one win.
Sam Oakley's RBI-single in the second opened the scoring and Graham's two-out, two-run single made it 3-0 after three.
BRCC's two runs both came on bases-loaded walks in the fourth and fifth.
Another two-out, two-run single for Graham in the sixth pushed the final to 7-2.
Cooper Rayburn came on in the fifth with the tying run at the plate and allowed just two hits over 2.2 frames for his first collegiate save.
Jones 9, Baton Rouge 2
A four-run first, highlighted by the first of two home runs by
Brayden Quick, allowed JC to cruise in the nightcap.
Graham shoved in five innings, allowing his lone hit in the fifth on an infield single and punching out five.
Kelan Guidry stole second and
Warren Hutchinson stole home on a delayed steal to get Jones on the board in the first inning.
Quick's second two-run homer in the third quickly made it 6-0 Bobcats and
Dylan Champagne's two-run double pushed it to 8-0 in the fourth.
Sanders Ainsworth smashed his third home run of the year off the scoreboard in the sixth.
Quick was 3-for-4 with two homers and three other Bobcats had multiple hits.
