High School: Played for head coach and former Bobcat Mason Strickland at South Jones...helped the Braves to a 30-9 record and MHSAA 5A State Runner-Up finish last season...pitched and played first base...hit .303 last year with four doubles, 15 RBIs and 23 runs scored and carried a 2.93 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 14.1 IP on the mound.

Personal: Son of Jennifer and Ben Thompson...has two sisters, Brelyn (25) and Kinsley (16)...Boston Red Sox fan...nickname is Rooster...avid hunter...general studies major...born June 28, 2007.
