ELLISVILLE – Nine members of the 2025 Jones College baseball team will be playing at the four-year level next spring.
The Bobcats finished 35-15 and as MACCC runners-up with a 20-8 mark in league play.

A record 11 Bobcats inked with four-year programs in 2024, giving Jones 28 over the last three seasons alone.
Rogers hit .330 over 113 career starts in the infield with 28 doubles, six triples, 10 home runs, 97 runs scored and 107 driven in. He also drew 75 free passes for a .425 on-base percentage and stole 21 bases.
The Northwest Rankin product fielded .957 in 417 chances and was a Second Team All-MACCC selection as a redshirt freshman.
Smith, a Southwest Mississippi CC transfer, was 4-1 with a 4.82 ERA and a pair of saves and struck out 28 in 28 innings in his lone season.
Marble was a Second Team All-MACCC nod and two-time MACCC Player of the Week selection this season after going 5-1 with a 2.60 ERA and 83 strikeouts in 114 innings of work. He closed his career 11-2 with a 2.84 ERA in 21 starts.
An Honorable Mention All-MACCC selection as a sophomore, Manuel batted .293 with eight doubles, six home runs, 38 RBIs and was hit a team-high 27 times. Manuel was a stalwart behind the plate with a .987 fielding percentage, 31 assists and 14 runners caught stealing. As a pitcher, he went 7.0 innings, allowed no runs, two hits, walked four and struck out seven.
Dunsford was a Second Team All-MACCC selection in his lone season after transferring over from Lurleen B. Wallace. He batted .356 with six home runs and 32 RBIs and led the team in hits (62), runs scored (49) and doubles (15).
In 32 career appearances for Daniell, six starts, he went 9-4 with a 3.23 ERA in 86.1 innings. He was 5-1 with three saves as a sophomore.
Smith is headed to Georgia Gwinnett, who went 56-7 last season and advanced all the way to the NAIA Semifinals. Smith batted .307 with a team-leading nine home runs, 11 doubles, three triples and 43 RBIs. He also led the team in slugging percentage at .595 and tied for the team-lead in walks with 31.
A Hinds transfer, Ainsworth started 42 of 43 games in the infield and hit .323 with seven doubles, a triple, two home runs and 23 RBIs.
Regira joins Ainsworth at Auburn-Montgomery. The redshirt sophomore hit .264 in his lone season in Ellisville with 10 doubles, two triples, two home runs and 22 RBIs in 43 starts between the outfield and designated hitter spot.
