JACKSON – For the second straight week, Jones College's Andrew Marble has been named MACCC Pitcher of the Week.
 
Marble, a sophomore right-hander from East Central, tossed 7.0 innings of three-hit ball in a must-win game as the Bobcats defeated Holmes, 7-0, in the Decatur Regional.
 
Marble struck out eight with two walks in the victory. It was his third straight outing of 7-plus innings and sixth quality start of the year.
 
The Samford signee ended the season with a 5-1 record with a 2.60 ERA and 83 strikeouts in 65.2 innings pitched.
