PLYMOUTH, Ind. – Jones College's
Sebastian Nowak has been named an NJCAA Division II PING Honorable Mention All-American.
Nowak is the first Bobcat golfer to be recognized as a PING All-American in program history. He was also named to the PING All-South Region Team and was earlier selected as All-MACCC Second Team.
Nowak, a sophomore from Stuttgart, Germany, won the Gulf District Region title at Tunica National Golf Club by posting a 7-under par 209 over three days. His performance helped Jones earn its first team berth in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. He also finished sixth in the MACCC Tournament at Shiloh Ridge in Corinth.
He had six top 15 finishes in 2024-25 and a 73.4 scoring average through the season
In 1994, Bobcat David Sinclair was named the conference's Division III Player of the Year and a Junior College All-American. In 1995, Bobcats Rick Fulkerson, David Ainsworth and Jason Christian was selected as JUCO All-Americans.
Jones is currently competing in Plymouth, Indiana, in the NJCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship for the first time as a team.
