Hackman named NJCAA First Team All-America, second in JC history

CHARLOTTE – Jones sophomore guard LJ Hackman has been named to the 2025 NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball All-America Team.

Hackman is the seventh NJCAA All-America selection in program history and the second to be named to the NJCAA All-America First Team.

The Southern Miss signee averaged 16.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game for the back-to-back MACCC and NJCAA Region 23 Champions. He shot 47 percent from the floor and 84 percent from the stripe.

Hackman posted 11 20-point games, including a career-high 30 against Mississippi Delta Jan. 9. He scored in double figures in 29 of 34 games.

The Memphis East product closed his JC career five points shy of 1,000 and led the Bobcats to a combined 57-11 record.

Bobcat teammate Dimp Pernell was an NJCAA Second Team All-America selection last year.
