Box Score 2 MOBILE, Ala. – No. 4 Jones opened a 17-game road adventure with a doubleheader thumping of Bishop State Wednesday afternoon by 14-1 and 11-1 finals.
The Bobcats have won seven straight and are now 7-1.
Claire Andersen was 7-for-8 in the leadoff spot,
Makynlie Jones had eight total RBIs and
Laney Little missed a cycle by a home run in the finale.
Jones plays in the Panama City Beach JUCO Showdown Feb. 7-8 in PCB Florida.

Mikayla Baumgartner got the win in four relief innings and Andersen and Jones combined for eight of the Bobcats' 12 hits in the game one win.
Jones led 8-0 through three innings.
The Wildcats scored a single run in the bottom of the fifth to avoid the run-rule and Jones added a six-spot in the seventh for the 14-1 win.
Jones doubled, homered and finished with six RBIs. Andersen was 5-for-5.
Meredith Fontenot added two hits.

Leading just 3-1 in the fifth, Jones exploded for eight runs over its final two at-bats to come away with a run-rule in six innings.
Ava Prejean tossed a complete game, three-hitter with two strikeouts and three walks to improve to 3-0 in the circle.
Little was 3-for-4 with a single, double and triple and five RBIs in the eight-hole.
Jayden Sawyer and Mak. Jones both homered.
