BATON ROUGE, La. – Jones exploded for 25 runs on 23 hits to sweep the final two games, 15-5 (7) and 10-3, of a four-game series against Baton Rouge on Sunday.
The Bobcats extended their win streak to nine games over the Bears and improved to 16-2 on the year.
Unlike the two, dramatic come-from-behind wins on Friday in Ellisville, Sunday's doubleheader was never in doubt.
Jones travels to Poplarville Wednesday to face Gulf Coast and host and No. 3 Pearl River.

Colton Hegwood hit a three-run homer as part of a six-run second and
Evan Rogers blasted a grand slam as part of a five-run seventh to lift JC to a run-rule victory.
BRCC scored single runs in the second and third to pull within 6-2 but Rogers and
Brady Thomas would provide RBI-singles in the fourth to extend the lead back to 9-2.
After the first five Bobcats reached in the seventh, Rogers hit his first career home run -- a grand slam to left -- to blow it wide open again, 15-5.
Five different Bobcats had multiple hits, including Hegwood, Rogers,
Marquette Gibson,
Jacob McCall and
Austin Mills.
Cole Manuel worked five innings of two-hit ball with four strikeouts for his first collegiate win.

Jones batted around and scored seven runs in the first and never looked back.
Hays Carley and Mills both tripled and
Josh King homered as part of the big inning.
Carley homered in the third and Hegwood and Rogers added RBIs in the sixth to close the scoring for Jones.
BRCC got a solo home run in the second and used a bases-loaded walk and error to plate two in the sixth.
Micah Daniell went five ininngs, struck out seven and allowed one walk in his first collegiate start to get the win.
