Box Score 2 NEW ALBANY – No. 12 Jones College remained undefeated in the MACCC with a 9-0 win over Northeast here Tuesday.
The Bobcats then lost to Blue Mountain Christian University of the NAIA, 7-0.
The Bobcats are now 13-1 overall and 7-0 in the MACCC.
Jones will host Jacksonville College (Texas) at 2 p.m. on Wednesday and will host Northwest at 2 p.m. Friday in its final match before spring break.
BMCU goes to Mississippi College on March 23.

Daniela Tovar (Venezuela) beat Allyson Chapin and Adeline Wilbanks in No. 1 doubles, 8-0.
Reagan Salter (Lewisburg) and
Sophie Endt (Vancleave) defeated Lyza McMillan and Lexi Patterson in No. 2 doubles, 8-3.
Annalyn Housley (Nettleton) and
Madelyn James (Northeast Jones) blanked Lee Kelley and Jordyn Foster in No. 3 doubles, 8-0.
Tocci shut out Patterson in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0 and Tovar whipped Chapin in No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-1.
Allie Johnson (Hernando) blanked Wilbanks in No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0 and
Michaela Anderson (Tupelo) downed Foster in No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Salter whipped McMillan in No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-0 and Endt downed Kelley in No. 6 singles.
Northeast, 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the league, hosts Southwest Friday.

Maggie Savell (Park Place Christian Academy) and Johnson lost 2-6 to Carlota Gascon Martinez in No. 2 doubles, 2-6. Anderson and Salter fell 1-6 to Kristina Kozakova and Chloe Webster in No. 3 doubles, 1-6.
Tocco lost to Trifonova in No. 1 singles, 4-6, 2-6 and Tovar lost to Kozakova in No. 2 singles, 2-6, 0-6. Savell fell to Gascon Martinez in No. 3 singles, 1-6, 0-6 and Johnson dropped a 1-6, 2-6 in No. 4 singles. Anderson lost to Kiara Mackay in No. 5 singles, 3-6, 3-6 and Housley battled, but dropped a 6-0, 1-6, 5-10 decision to Webster in No. 6 singles.
