Box Score ELLISVILLE – The 12th ranked Jones College Bobcats remained undefeated here Monday afternoon at the Bobcat Tennis Complex.
Jones defeated Coastal Alabama-South, 8-1, to improve to 14-0 on the year. The Bobcats have now won 43 consecutive matches.
Jones will return home to meet Hinds at 2 p.m. on Friday.
Coastal Alabama-South, 2-8, hosts Wallace St.-Hanceville on March 30.
The Bobcats opened the match sweeping the doubles' points.
Andrea Vlasceanu (Spain) and
Mia Höddinghaus (Germany) downed Zoe Broussard and Carlee Teague in No. 1 doubles, 8-1.
Judith Mills (South Pontotoc) and
Ally Brooke Chism (Pontotoc) whipped Anna Clare Phillips and Emma Spears in No. 2 doubles, 8-1.
Addy Seward (Richland) and
Allie Johnson (Hernando) blanked Taji Williams and Chloe Turner in No. 3 doubles, 8-0.
Seward defeated Broussard in No. 1 singles, 6-3, 7-5. Chism shut out Phillips in No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Johnson blanked Turner in No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Kamryn Rodriguez (Newton County) beat Spears in No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-1.
Stori Endt (Vancleave) defeated Williams in No. 6 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Mills fell to Teague in No. 2 singles, 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 7-10.
