Box Score ELLISVILLE – No. 19 Jones College defeated Holmes 9-0 here Friday afternoon at Bobcat Tennis Courts.

In No. 1 doubles, Kamryn Rodriguez (Newton County) and Sarrah Der-Ballout won 8-6 over Khin Lwin and Kayla Douglas. Jones won the other doubles' matches by forfeit.
 
Rodriguez rallied for a 3-6, 6-3, 10-7 over Lwin in No. 1 singles. Stori Endt (Vancleave) blanked Douglas, 6-0, 6-0, and Der-Ballout beat Emily Evans, 6-0, 6-4. Jones won the other singles' matches by forfeit.

The Bobcats, 3-0, return to play on Tuesday when they visit Mississippi Gulf Coast for a 1 p.m. match.
 
Holmes, 0-2, hosts East Central on Tuesday.
