ELLISVILLE – Jones County Junior College ended the season with a 69-58 victory over Meridian Community College here Thursday night at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.
The Bobcats end the year at 12-11 overall and 7-7 in the division.
JCJC never trailed in snapping a 3-game losing streak.

Mason Daniels' (Atlanta, Georgia) 18-footer capped a 6-0 spurt and gave Jones a 19-10 lead with 7:55 left in the first half.
David McCoy's (Meridian) offensive rebound and basket ended a 16-2 run and gave the Bobcats a 29-12 lead with 5:13 left in the first half.
Quentin Pough's (Wayne County) 3-pointer gave Jones its longest lead of the first half at 34-15 with 2:29 showing.
The Bobcats led 37-23 at halftime.
MCC's Timothy Lacey scored with 14:09 left to make it 45-30.
But a
David Gaines, Jr. putback at 9:04 ended a 12-4 run and gave the Bobcats a 57-34 lead. A
Winceton Edwards' (Oak Grove) 3-pointer with 8:30 showing matched that longest lead at 60-37.
The Eagles never got closer than the final margin.
Gaines paced the Bobcats with a season-high 24 points. Daniels added 16 and McCoy finished with 11.
Kenneth Lewis had 20 for the Eagles. Lacey added 13, Elton Neal had 11 and Alex Perry finished with 10.
Meridian ends the season at 6-17 overall, 3-11 in division play.
