TYLER, Texas – The season ended for the Jones College Bobcats here Saturday night at Pat Hartley Field.
Fourth-ranked Tyler Junior College defeated the Bobcats 3-0 in the NJCAA South District playoffs.
The Apaches took a 1-0 lead in the 17^thminute on a Jake Morris goal. 
Tyler made it 2-0 in the 49^thminute when Dylan Bufton scored. Bufton's goal on an assist by Jacob Daffern in the 86^thminute ended the scoring.
Callum Harley (Whitley Bay, England) was credited with 11 saves for the Bobcats.
Jones ends the year at 14-2-1 – a school-record for victories.
Tyler, 18-2, will go to the men's NJCAA Division I National Tournament Nov. 12-17 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
