                     CLARKSDALE – No. 2 Jones County Junior College whipped Coahoma Community College 23-0 here Monday afternoon in game one of a doubleheader.
Taylor Murray (Parklane Academy) homered, singled and had seven RBIs for the Lady Bobcats.
Brittany Baty (Northeast Lauderdale) homered, singled and had five RBIs, while 
Autumn Frost (East Webster) doubled, singled twice and had five RBIs.
Natalie Hogue (Harrison Central) had four singles and two RBIs and 
Cori McCrary (Carroll Academy) had three singles and two RBIs. 
Kelsha Loftin (Mendenhall) and 
Jessie Bumpous (Southaven) had two singles each, while 
Emily Robinson (Lafayette) and 
Callie Venable (Clinton, Louisiana) each doubled. 
Sarah Brock (North Pike), 
Bailey Gilbert (Sylva-Bay Academy) and 
Brittany Hagwood (Enterprise) added singles.
Amanda Holliday (Watson, Louisiana) pitched the first four innings and got the win. She allowed no runs, one hit, walked one and struck out seven. She is now 10-1. 
Karli Perque (Westwego, Louisiana) pitched a perfect fifth inning.
Shalottie Dawson singled for CCC's only hit.
Gabrielle Crain pitched the entire game and took the loss.
JCJC led 6-0 after one inning, 11-0 after two, 20-0 after three and 23-0 after four.
