th-rated Jones County Junior College Lady Bobcats scored seven runs and never looked back in whipping Mississippi Delta 17-1 in five innings in game one here Friday at the Mississippi Valley State University Softball Complex.

Jay Harris each had three singles for JCJC.
Kelly Byrd and
Ashley Valentine each doubled twice, while
Kalyn Watts doubled and singled.
Cori McCrary,
Autumn Frost and
Jessie Bumpous each singled.
Watts, Byrd, Baty and Valentine each drove in three runs.
Haylee Morse, 1-1, posted the victory. She pitched all five innings, allowed no earned runs, three hits, walked one and struck out seven.
Jada McIntosh, Talaja Echols and Areial Welton each singled for MDCC.
Catrina Hall pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowed 11 runs (two earned), 10 hits, walked two and took the loss. Jamie O'Cain went the final 1 1/3 innings, allowed six runs and eight hits.
