Hayes fans 12 in win over Spring Hill JV

MOBILE, Alabama – Rachel Hayes continues to shine in the circle for Jones County Junior College.
Hayes struck out 12 in 6 1/3 innings to spark the Lady Bobcats to a 4-1 victory over the Spring Hill College Junior Varsity here Thursday in game one of a doubleheader. 
She allowed one earned run, four hits and walked none as she improved to 5-1.
Jasmine Hill went the final 2/3 of an inning and got the save. She retired both batters she faced.
Offensively, Kelly Byrd led the way with a double and a single and two RBIS. Kalyn Watts and Brittany Baty had two singles each and Natalie Hogue had a single.
