FULTON – Itawamba Community College rallied to defeat Jones County Junior College 78-71 here Tuesday night at the Davis Event Center.
JCJC led by as many as 12 points in the first half and held a 32-27 edge at halftime before ICC came back for the win.
Rickey Holden led the Bobcats, 6-3, with 17 points.
Maurice Dunlap added 13 and
Bruce Stevens had 10. Stevens also had seven rebounds, three blocked shots and three assists.
The Bobcats were 26-of-71 from the floor (6-of-29 from 3-point range) for 36.6 percent. JCJC was 13-of-22 from the foul line. The Bobcats had 32 rebounds and committed seven turnovers.
Quenten Taylor had 26 for the Indians, 7-5. Carter Sweat added 14.
The Bobcats defeated Itawamba 86-77 earlier this season at home.
The Bobcats will host Copiah-Lincoln in MACJC South Division play Monday at A.B. Howard Gymnasium. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. and will air on

Itawamba goes to Snead State Community College (Alabama) on Thursday.
