BATON ROUGE, La. –
Sanders Ainsworth drove in five of Jones' six runs in the opener and
Canyon Reeves tossed five innings of two-hit ball in the nightcap to help the Bobcats sweep a pair at Pete Goldsby Field Friday afternoon.
Jones improved to 5-1 and dropped BRCC to 0-5.
The two teams will close out a four-game set on Sunday at Community Bank Park. First pitch has been moved up an hour to 1 p.m. in two, seven-inning games.

Jones 6, Baton Rouge 4
Trailing 4-0 going to the fifth, Ainsworth's three-run homer in the inning cut the deficit to one and his two-run double in the sixth completed a come-from-behind win.
Brayson Graham's RBI-single tied the game at 4-4 in the fifth.
Colton Smith improved to 3-0 in five innings of five-hit ball, allowing four unearned runs.
Drew Lambert tossed two hitless innings to close the game for his first collegiate save.
Jones 5, Baton Rouge 3
Reeves came on with a runner on in the third and no outs and went the final five innings allowing just two hits to help Jones to a sweep.
The team's traded runs in the first on Ainsworth's infield single and Cooper Martin scored on a passed ball for BRCC.
Chase Russell's RBI-double scored
Kelan Guidry, Talon Theriot followed with an RBI-single off the pitcher and Graham an RBI-groundout to make it 4-1 Cats.
BRCC got two back in the bottom of the second on Kenneth Berard's two-run single.
But that's where the runs stopped for the Bears as Reeves was lights out the final five frames with eight strikeouts and no walks.
Collin Haney's pinch-hit bunt single in the sixth pushed the final to 5-3.
Dylan Champagne added two hits as Jones out-hit BRCC 10-5 in the finale.
