JACKSON – Jones College's Larissa Hubbard has been named the MACCC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
The 5-foot-11 sophomore forward from Harrison Central High School had back-to-back double-doubles for the Bobcats last week.
 
Hubbard had 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 54-53 loss to Itawamba and followed that up with 16 points, 12 rebounds and four blocked shots in a 66-45 victory over Coahoma.

She averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocks for the Bobcats last week and contributed her fifth and sixth double-doubles.
 
The Gulfport native was an NJCAA All-Academic First Team selection as a freshman.
