ORLANDO, Fla. – Jones College captured its fourth Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Open Coed Championship since 2021 on Sunday at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex.
"As a former Jones College cheerleader, winning my first national championship as a coach is a full circle moment for me," second-year head coach Kate Ewing said. Watching this program grow and getting to give back to a place that gave me so much means everything. These cheerleaders have worked relentlessly all year and truly earned this championship each and every day. All glory goes to God."
Jones bested Shelton State and Iowa Western for the championship in its category.
The Bobcats won their first-ever UCA Open Coed Championship in 2021 and have followed with titles in 2022, 2024 and this year.
The team will return to campus on Monday at midnight in the D.O. Thoms PE Building.
