POPLARVILLE – Jones stayed unbeaten all-time against rival Pearl River with a 3-1 victory Wednesday night at Shivers Gym.
The Bobcats won by 25-13, 25-15, 22-25 and 25-21 finals to move to 3-0 overall, 2-0 MACCC. PRCC fell to 6-4, 2-1.
Chelsea Daffin had a team-high 16 kills, followed by
Izzi Barnes with 13 and
Harmony Jackson with 10. Jones as a team hit .385 and held PRCC to a dismal .098 percentage.
Mamie Fromdahl had a match-high 42 assists and
Sara Akins a team-high 18 digs.
Jones heads to Enterprise, Ala. for a pair of matches Saturday at the Enterprise Parks & Recreation Center.
