MOBILE, Ala. – Jones rallied from a 2-1 deficit and won the fourth and fifth sets to outlast Bishop State, 3-2, Thursday night at the Mobile Civic Center to remain unbeaten.
The Bobcats improved to 10-0. BSCC fell to 5-9.
Jones hit .200 for the match and held the Wildcats to a .028 attack percentage. It's the fourth time the Bobcats have held an opponent under .100.
Harmony Jackson had a match and season-high 21 kills and
Chelsea Daffin added a season-high 17 kills.
Jones tied a season high with 14 aces, four each by
Adelaide Egner and
Mamie Fromdahl.
Sara Akins had a career-high 20 digs.
Jones hosts Northwest (15-2, 6-0 MACCC) on Monday at 5 p.m., a rematch of last year's Region 23 Championship in Senatobia that the Bobcats won.
