ELLISVILLE – Jones kept its unbeaten streak alive Monday night in a 3-0 blanking of Itawamba by 25-20, 25-19 and 25-16 finals.
The Bobcats improved to 8-0, 5-0 MACCC and dropped ICC to 5-5, 2-3 in league play.
Harmony Jackson and
Izzi Barnes combined for 20 of the Bobcats' 39 kills as they hit .364 as a team against .113 for the Indians.
Jones has held all eight opponents to an attack percentage under .170.
The Bobcats hit .500 in the third and deciding set, hammering 15 kills against just two errors.
Madolyn Mills had five kills and
Jensi Doise six.
Mamie Fromdahl led the way with 33 assists and
Hailey Duque and
Claire Wicker had eight digs apiece. Duque added five service aces.
Jones heads to Meridian on Wednesday, Sept. 17 for a 6 o'clock first serve.
