SELMA, Ala. – Jones College made quick work of Wallace State-Selma in its 2025 opener on Monday night, winning 3-0 in just over an hour.

The Bobcats won by 25-9, 25-13 and 25-11 finals.

Jones had 43 kills in the match against 14 for the Patriots and a near perfect third set with 14 kills in 19 attempts for a .737 attack percentage.

Chelsea Daffin and Jensi Doise had a team-high eight kills apiece in their JC openers, with Izzi Barnes adding seven.

Doise added three of Jones' 13 service aces.

Fourteen different Bobcats touched the floor.

Jones hosts Mississippi Gulf Coast Wednesday, August 27 at 6 p.m. in the MACCC-opener for both sides.
