ELLISVILLE – Two more quality starts on the mound for Bobcat pitching and a walk-off grand slam by
Chase Russell in the nightcap helped No. 8 Jones sweep Co-Lin Tuesday night at Community Bank Park.
The Bobcats improved to 13-1 at home and went 6-0 during their six-game homestand.
Jones will return to action Friday, April 4 at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson to face Coahoma in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.

Josh Lee (5-0) logged his third straight quality start and Russell,
Brice Ainsworth and
Dominick Regira had three hits apiece in a game one win.
The Wolves struck first on Trey Davidson's two-run double in the third.
Ainsworth cut the lead in half in the fourth before Regira's bases-clearing double down the right field line. Russell's infield single made it 5-2 Cats.
Evan Rogers' RBI-double in the eighth made it 7-3 Jones and Ainsworth's single up the middle plated the game's final run.
Lee worked 7.0 innings, allowing three runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and a walk.
Brycen Smith tossed the final two for his first collegiate save.
Cohen Weinhoffer took the loss in 3.2 innings after giving up five runs on five hits.
Jones 7, Co-Lin 3
After Co-Lin tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the sixth off a Bobcat miscue, Russell's line drive to right snuck over the fence for a dramatic walk-off in the bottom of the seventh.
Andrew Marble and Jones were in control, leading 3-1 in the sixth, before the Wolves rallied with three singles, a Bobcat error and two runs to tie the game.
Dylan Wesson's RBI-single made it 3-2 and a wild throw from left field allowed another run to score.
Cody Freeman came in for the seventh and got a pair of strikeouts to keep Co-Lin off the board.
After back-to-back strikeouts to open the bottom of the seventh, pinch-hitter
Braylon Peters drew a hit-by-pitch,
Talan Theriot doubled and
Evan Rogers was intentionally walked.
Russell then sent a 1-1 pitch screaming over the fence in right field to clear the bases for a walk-off grand slam, his lone hit of the game.
Marble worked a no-decision in six innings, allowing two earned runs with five strikeouts. Freeman got the win to move to 2-2.
