JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 12 Jones closed out a three-game road swing in Florida with a 9-8 win over Florida State College of Jacksonville early Sunday morning.
The Bobcats topped South Florida State College, 2-0, Saturday morning and lost, 9-8, to St. Johns River State later that afternoon.
Jones was supposed to play South Georgia State College Sunday afternoon but that game was nixed due to approaching weather.

Andrew Marble and
Micah Daniell combined for a two-hit shutout on the hill and
Brice Ainsworth and
Braden Smith went yard for the Bobcats' two runs.
Scoreless through four, Ainsworth's solo shot came in the fifth and Smith's in the seventh for some insurance.
Marble and Daniell combined for seven strikeouts and two walks. Each gave up a hit.
St. Johns River State 9, Jones 8
The Vikings rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh and came from 5-1 down after two to stun Jones in Saturday's nightcap.
Jones got on the board in the top of the first after a pair of sac flies and
Preston Scott's RBI-single.
Thomas Bly's RBI-double cut Jones' lead to 3-1 after one.
Evan Rogers' two-run jack in the second stretched the lead back to 5-1 but a pair of two-run homers for the Vikings tied the game at 5-5 in the fifth
SJRS took its first lead, 6-5, on Matt Lipcsey's RBI-single in the sixth.
Jones tied it up at 6-6 in the seventh and then scored two more on back-to-back RBI-singles from Ainsworth and
Bryson Jones to make it 8-6.
Needing three outs for a win, Jones gave up three in the bottom of the inning, the winning run coming off a wild pitch.
All five Vikings reached base in the seventh and three scored to walk it off, 9-8.
Jones out-hit SJRS 13-9 and
Cole Manuel was 3-for-4 with a double.

They almost did it again.
Less than 12 hours after giving up three runs in the bottom of the seventh in a one-run loss, Jones allowed three again in the bottom of the seventh but was able to hang on for a 9-8 win.
The top of the Bobcat lineup was 7-for-14 with a home run, double, seven runs scored and five RBIs to power the offense.
TJ Dunsford's two-run double gave Jones an early 2-0 lead top one and B. Smith followed two batters later with a two-run shot to make it 4-0.
Dunsford homered in the top of the third to make it 6-2 before FSCJ answered with a solo shot and two-run shot in the fourth to pull within 6-5.
A
Bryson Jones RBI-triple and
Dominick Regira RBI-double gave Jones a 9-5 lead into the seventh.
A double and back-to-back hit-by-pitches had the tying run at the plate for the Manta Rays. After two RBI-singles and a wild pitch cut it to 9-8,
Caden Freeman was able to record the final out to get the save.
The Bobcats head to Decatur Tuesday, Feb. 18 for a round robin against No. 2 East Central and Northeast.
