SENATOBIA – Jones College never trailed in a 102-67 rout over Northwest here Thursday night at Howard Coliseum.
The Bobcats led 51-27 at halftime and took its largest lead at 98-50 with 4:10 left when
Tyrel Shorts (Terry) scored.
Jones is now 18-3 overall and 5-0 in the MACCC. The Rangers fall to 4-12 and 0-4.
Dimp Pernell (Horn Lake) scored 22 points and had seven rebounds.
Ky Pernell (Horn Lake) had 18 points,
Malik Franklin (Vicksburg) added 17 and
LJ Hackman (Columbus) added 12.
Every Bobcat on the roster scored.
Jones made 39-of-70 shots for 56 percent and went 14-of-27 from beyond the arc for 52 percent.
Tyler Spears had 14 points for the Rangers and Nolan Wells added 10.
Jones hosts Southwest in a 5:30 p.m. game on Monday.
Northwest hosts Southwest on Saturday and visits Mississippi Delta on Monday.
