ELLISVILLE – Leading by nine at the half, a 19-2 run midway through the second half blew the game wide open for No. 6 Jones as they cruised to a 108-67 victory over ASU Mid-South.
The Bobcats improved to 4-0 with their second win over the Greyhounds, who dropped to 2-5.
Jones has scored 100-plus in three straight games for the first time since 2015.
ASU Mid-South scored the first two points of the game but would never lead again. The Greyhounds shot 55 percent in the opening half to keep the game close, with Jermain Christopher and Santana Spivey netting 10 points apiece.
Jones closed the first half with eight of the final 10 points and then used that momentum to start the second half on fire.
Kylan Howze's putback dunk with 17:02 left started a 22-6 spurt that included a trio of
LJ Hackman dunks to stretch the lead to 79-48.
Howze had 12 of his career-high 18 points in the second half and finished with a double-double and
Avery Thomas II had all 12 of his the final 20.
Seven Bobcats finished in double figures, led by Hackman's 20.

DJ Davis had 10 each and
Malik Franklin had 11.
Jones out-shot ASU Mid-South 51 percent to 40 percent, holding the Greyhounds to 26 percent shooting in the second half.
